LAS VEGAS – Today, Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) announced that the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) has awarded her a perfect “100%” rating on their National Environmental Scorecard for her work to protect our environment and public lands while investing in the clean economy of today and the future.
“Southern Nevada is on the front lines of the climate crisis with heat waves and the West’s worst drought in 12 centuries. Our families need a strong advocate for solutions to this crisis. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to protect our public lands and natural resources, and secure investments for the clean economy,” said Congresswoman Lee. “Whether it’s tackling severe drought, investing in good-paying clean energy jobs, or fighting for energy efficiency and cost savings, Nevadans know that I will always stand with them.”
Congresswoman Lee is an independent problem solver and a strong advocate for Nevada’s public lands, environment, and clean economy investments, and her perfect rating stands in stark contrast to the U.S. House average rating of just 49%. In 2023, Congresswoman Lee was endorsed by the LCV Action Fund for the 2024 election cycle and named a “climate champion” by LCV Action Fund Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Tiernan Sittenfeld.
