LAS VEGAS — Today, Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) announced that she received the endorsement of the Nevada Association of Public Safety Officers (NAPSO) and the Nevada Law Enforcement Coalition (NLEC), which represents nearly 20 separate associations of law enforcement and other public safety officers throughout Nevada. “Our men and women in uniform risk their lives every day to protect our communities, and it is one of my top priorities to ensure that they have the funding and resources they need to keep us safe,” said Rep. Lee. “I’m proud to have the endorsement of the Nevada
Association of Public Safety Officers and the Nevada Law Enforcement Coalition, and I will keep fighting for the interests of our law enforcement officers in Congress.”

“The Nevada Association of Public Safety Officers and the Nevada Law Enforcement Coalition are proud to endorse Congresswoman Susie Lee. We can trust her to always have the backs of and to work to improve the lives of the hardworking women and men of law enforcement,” said Rick McCann, Retired Executive Director and Government Affairs Director of NAPSO. “Congresswoman Lee has a proven record of sponsoring and supporting legislation that prioritizes public safety for our officers and the communities they serve. She is a true friend to our law enforcement heroes, and we continue to stand with her in Nevada and in our nation’s capital.”

“The Nevada Association of Public Safety Officers is proud to again support Congresswoman Susie Lee for her reelection for Nevada’s Third District. She lives by her principles, having fought for legislation that supports small businesses, education, first responders and health care workers,” said Matt Richardson, Vice President of NAPSO. “Rep. Lee has always reached out to our members seeking advice and recommendations on the issues facing our law enforcement officers. Our members need her protection and are proud to stand in support of Congresswoman Lee.”

Congresswoman Lee has been an outspoken advocate for law enforcement officers in Washington. This year, she introduced the bipartisan Invest to Protect Act to make critical investments in local police departments to provide training, equipment and mental health support for police officers. Additionally, in her position on the House Appropriations Committee, Congresswoman Lee secured $512 million for Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) programs for Fiscal Year 2022 to assist state and local law enforcement agencies in hiring and training community policing officers.
