During National Police Week, Lee Announces Endorsements from Public Safety Organizations

May 15, 2026

Today, Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) announced she has received the endorsement of the Nevada Association of Public Safety Officers (NAPSO), including the Nevada Law Enforcement Coalition, Nevada Peace Officer Association, Juvenile Justice Probation Officers Association, and Juvenile Justice Supervisors Association.

“Congresswoman Susie Lee has proven to be a loyal advocate for law enforcement and first responders in southern Nevada. The Nevada Association of Public Safety Officers and the Nevada Law Enforcement Coalition are proud to endorse Congresswoman Lee for re-election,” said Rick McCann, Government Affairs Director and Former Executive Director of NAPSO. “We represent state and local law enforcement officers, correction officers, and civilian employees who need a strong and consistent advocate in Washington. Congresswoman Lee has a proven track record of championing legislation that supports our officers and their families. We can trust her to always have our backs.”

“Our brave law enforcement officers wake up every day and risk their lives to keep our families safe. I’m committed to being their voice in Congress and a partner they can depend on,” said Congresswoman Susie Lee. “I will continue fighting to ensure our police in southern Nevada have the funding they need to keep themselves and our communities safe. I am honored to receive this endorsement from the Nevada Association of Public Safety Officers. We must have the backs of those who protect us.”

On the heels of her record-breaking first quarter fundraising haul, Lee is building a broad coalition of support that includes endorsements from labor unions, women’s health organizations, and public safety groups.

She recently secured $4.4 billion in federal funding for state and local law enforcement – a nearly $800 million increase from the previous year. She is also leading bipartisan, bicameral legislation to crack down on organized retail crime, which passed the House of Representatives this week. Lee also led and passed legislation to reduce youth fentanyl and drug use and secured thousands to help better train Nevada State Police officers.

Susie Lee represents Nevada’s Third Congressional District in Congress, where she has been named one of the most bipartisan Members of Congress and one of the most independent voices in Washington. She will continue to be an outspoken advocate for Nevada’s law enforcement officers.
