Lee Announces Endorsements from Reproductive Health, Women’s Rights Organizations on 4th Anniversary of Dobbs Decision

June 24, 2026

Today, four years after the Supreme Court issued their ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, overturning nearly 50 years of precedent and stripping abortion access from millions of Americans, Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) announced she has received the endorsements of EMILYs List, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Reproductive Freedom for All, and National Organization for Women (NOW) PAC.

Meanwhile, Lee’s opponent is an anti-abortion extremist who wants to let politicans outlaw abortion, even in cases of rape, incest, or life of the mother. He’s endorsed by the Nevada Right to Life, and has compared legal abortion to the Holocaust, despite Nevadans voting overwhelmingly to enshrine abortion rights in the state constitution last election in a ballot initiative he called “satanic.”

“When the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, millions of women in America woke up to discover they no longer had the right to make decisions about their own bodies. I’ve had three miscarriages, two of which required a D&C. I know what it’s like to need essential care in a horrible position,” said Congresswoman Susie Lee. “Extremists are determined to send anti-choice candidates, like Marty O’Donnell, to Congress to ban abortion nationwide, preventing women from accessing the essential care they need. I’m fighting to make sure women always have the right to make their own medical decisions, because no politician should ever come between a woman and her doctor.”

“EMILYs List is proud to endorse Rep. Susie Lee for reelection. During her time in Congress, she has delivered for southern Nevada, defended our fundamental rights, and stood up against Trump’s dangerous agenda. While House Republicans are working in lockstep to pass reckless policies that drive costs up and cut critical services for working people, we need leaders like Rep. Lee to fight back,” said Jessica Mackler, EMILYs List President. “Rep. Lee has proven she has what it takes to win tough elections, and we are ready to stand with her to take back power in 2026.”

“In the 2026 elections, the stakes could not be higher. President Trump and his backers in Congress have launched a coordinated assault on reproductive health care access, driving up health care costs and restricting access to care for millions,” said Alexis McGill Johnson, president and CEO, Planned Parenthood Action Fund. “With anti-abortion lawmakers proposing to permanently “defund” Planned Parenthood by blocking patients with Medicaid from using their coverage at Planned Parenthood health centers, we need champions like Susie Lee in Congress who will continue fighting to protect southern Nevada’s access to the health care they deserve.”

“Four years after Dobbs, anti-abortion extremists and their allies are still attacking reproductive freedom, including here in Nevada. While they continue to push policies that threaten our rights, we remain committed to protecting reproductive freedom and ensuring every Nevadan can make their own health care decisions with dignity, safety, and freedom. Building that future starts with supporting champions like Susie Lee who will make reproductive freedom a priority and put the people of Nevada first,” said Denise Lopez, Reproductive Freedom for All Director of Nevada Campaigns.

“NOW is proud to endorse Susie Lee for Congress. Susie understands the struggles Nevadans are facing – from sky-high costs to attacks on our most basic rights. She’s fighting for us every day in Washington,” said Sue Burtch, Executive Director, Nevada NOW. “Meanwhile, her opponent wants to ban abortion nationwide and tell women what they can do with their bodies. Last cycle, Nevadans made their voices clear and voted to protect access to reproductive care in our state – Marty O’Donnell called it ‘satanic.’ He’s the wrong choice for Nevada women, and that’s why we’re fired up to send Susie Lee back to Congress.”

Susie Lee represents Nevada’s Third Congressional District in Congress, where she has been named one of the most bipartisan Members of Congress and one of the most independent voices in Washington. Before running for Congress, Susie started a comprehensive homeless shelter to help the most vulnerable members of our community, and she led the leading statewide dropout prevention program, Communities in Schools of Nevada.
