Highest Q1 Total Ever Raised in a Nevada Congressional Race

LAS VEGAS – Today, Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) announced that she has raised over $850,000 in the first fundraising quarter of 2024 — the highest first quarter total ever for a Nevada U.S. House race. This comes after Lee’s strongest off-year fundraising quarter to date.

Lee’s first quarter fundraising total is the most any NV-03 candidate and any U.S. House candidate in Nevada has ever raised in the first quarter of an election year. This unheard-of momentum was fueled by grassroots support of more than 4,400 individual donations and brings her campaign’s cycle to date total to over $3.1 million.

In the 2022 cycle, Nevada’s Third Congressional District proved to be the most competitive House race in Nevada and one of the closest and most expensive races in the country. National Republicans have already named NV-03 as a top target. Lee has the grassroots support to win in November with more than $2.1 million cash on hand.

“Susie continues to break every record available because southern Nevadans know she is an independent problem solver who brings working class roots to Washington and common-sense solutions home to our state,” said Kyla Sabado, Campaign Manager for the Susie Lee for Congress campaign. “But the fight is far from over. Susie is laser-focused on creating good-paying jobs, making life more affordable for working families, and protecting women’s health care and reproductive rights. That’s the agenda Nevadans want and deserve.”

Congresswoman Susie Lee represents Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District and has been recognized as the most bipartisan member of Congress, as well as one of the most independent voices in Washington. Before being elected to represent southern Nevada in Congress, Lee spent her career leading organizations dedicated to improving the lives of Nevada’s most vulnerable children and families, including the leading statewide dropout prevention program, Communities in Schools of Nevada.
