Lee Statement on Winning Democratic Primary for Nevada’s Third Congressional District

Today, Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) released the following statement on her victory in the 2026 primary election for Nevada’s Third District:

“I’m honored that southern Nevadans have placed their trust in me to continue fighting for them in Congress. Having lived in southern Nevada for the past 33 years, I’ve been dedicated to this great community that I call home – raising my children here, serving our most vulnerable, helping students graduate, supporting job creation, and working to help families get ahead. 

“I grew up in a working family of ten that had to stretch every dollar – I understand the pressures facing Nevada families right now. Our community needs a fighter who will roll up her sleeves to lower costs, protect health care, and stop corporate greed. That’s what I’m doing every day in Congress, and I’ll continue working with anyone to make life better for southern Nevadans. 

“Southern Nevada has suffered because Republicans in Washington are more concerned about showing loyalty to an administration that has ignored the working class and is actively making life more expensive while giving tax breaks and special treatment to their billionaire friends. While its reckless policies are killing local jobs and making it harder for families to afford food, housing, gas, and health care, Republicans in Washington have turned a blind eye to the struggles of working families. We need more fighters in Congress who will work hard to help southern Nevadans and stand up to this corrupt administration — not more rubber stamp Republicans. I look forward to winning re-election and continuing to defend and support Nevadans.”
