Susie Lee Raises Record-Setting $1.7M in 3rd Quarter

LAS VEGAS – Driven by a grassroots coalition of over 12,000 donors, local education advocate and congressional candidate Susie Lee reported raising over $1.7 million in the 3rd fundraising quarter. Lee set the record for the largest fundraising haul in a single quarter by any House candidate, incumbent or challenger, in Nevada history. Lee also out-raised her opponent, Danny Tarkanian, by over $1 million from July to September. Lee reported over $780,000 on hand for the closing weeks of the campaign, an advantage of over $300,000 more than her opponent.

“I am grateful for the support of the thousands of individuals who have placed their trust in me to bring fresh leadership to Congress” said Susie Lee. “I am excited to continue sharing my track record and my results-driven approach to problem-solving with Nevada voters.”

“Danny Tarkanian is relying on outside Super PACs and unaccountable D.C. special interests to prop up his 8th political campaign,” said Lee’s campaign manager, Brandon Cox. “Susie Lee, on the other hand, has built a broad base of support that will allow her to communicate her record of real results and solutions to Nevada voters who are hungry for new ideas, not a scandal-plagued, retread politician who has been running for office since 2004.”

Susie Lee is the Democratic nominee in Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District. Since launching her campaign, Lee has been endorsed by dozens of local and national elected officials and organizations. Susie is a longtime education advocate and nonprofit leader with 25 years of experience serving Nevada students and families and obtaining real results that improve people’s lives.
