Wins primary election for Congress in Nevada’s Third District

LAS VEGAS — Today, Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) released the following statement on her victory in the 2024 primary election for Nevada’s Third District:

“I am honored to have the trust and confidence of southern Nevada families and look forward to winning reelection to continue the fight for our fundamental rights and a strong future. I grew up in a working family of ten that had to stretch every dollar and I understand that life costs too much right now which is why I’ve worked with both parties on common sense solutions for the middle class that have brought good-paying jobs back to Nevada, lowered prescription medicine prices, protected veterans, seniors, and small businesses, and delivered historic investments to rebuild local infrastructure and secure our water supply.

“Southern Nevada’s strong future is under attack by far-right extremists who will bow to big corporations and the ultra-wealthy and make the working class pay. They want to ban abortion including here in Nevada with no exceptions for rape and incest, put a stranglehold on job creation, gut Social Security and Medicare, and leave our veterans behind. They are in it for themselves, not to help the hardworking families and seniors in southern Nevada.”
